Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with designers to implement web design concepts and ensure a visually appealing user interface.
• Optimize websites for performance and ensure they load quickly and function smoothly across various browsers and devices.
• Troubleshoot and debug web issues, addressing compatibility, responsiveness, and functionality concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements.
• Work closely with back-end developers and integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Maintain and update existing websites, making necessary content changes and improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for web projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer/Junior Web Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end libraries and frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, jQuery).
• Knowledge of web development tools and version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) is a plus.
• Candidates with experience in PHP and Laravel will have an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Schedule:

Ability to work a rotating schedule (4:00 AM to 12:30 PM) Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
