Job Description
Warehouse Technician jobs are essential roles in the supply chain and logistics industry, involving a variety of tasks centered around the storage, handling, and distribution of goods. These roles are crucial for ensuring that products move efficiently from manufacturers to consumers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouses, terminal roads, terminal pods, and open grounds.
- Shall drive a four-wheeler vehicle as an added requirement.
- Ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations through issuing and receiving materials, including stocking items, material return activities.
- Assist warehouse contacted technicians for material handling of bulky shipments, inter-affiliate sale materials, and duplicate or merging materials.
- Prepare reports and documentation as well coverage for turnaround, call-out, shutdown, and urgent emergency requirements.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse system transactions.
- Support cycle count activities and perform discrepancy analysis and verification.
- Report and verify warehouse facilities needs that support cost reductions and savings through improvement in space utilization.
- Maintain safety and quality of operations at all warehouses.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisor for arranging maintenance of material handling equipment and warehouse buildings.
- Analyze information and evaluate results, coordinate with warehouse supervisor for the resolution of customer’s issues.
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree or High School Diploma
- 6 years or above experience in Warehouse or a related field.
- Experience with construction estimating and cost management.
- Other Language preferences (Hindi, Arabic)
- Gulf Experience Added Advantages
