Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trainee Clinical Research Coordinators to join our team. The Trainee Clinical Research Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to medical investigators in hospitals, coordinating and managing clinical studies across multiple disease areas. This role requires adherence to applicable research management systems and processes, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of clinical studies. The individual will work under the supervision of medical specialists who serve as principal investigators, with responsibilities including the coordination, implementation, monitoring, and successful conclusion of clinical studies.
Education & expertise required:
- Bachelors’ Degree preferably in health sciences, bioscience, nursing or related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with patients, their physicians and families.
- Excellent language proficiency in both English and Sinhala (oral and written).
- Excellent communication skills & time management skills.
- Flexibility to travel and conduct home visits if required.
- Ability to work extended hours and during weekends.
- Willingness to work from government hospitals.
- Candidates residing in or near Kandy and Colombo, particularly in close proximity to the mentioned Teaching Hospitals, are preferred.
