Job Description
Role Summary
The Ticketing and Reservations Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating travel-related bookings, including flight tickets, hotel reservations, and other travel services. This role requires excellent customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction and efficient booking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ticketing & Reservations: Handle flight bookings, hotel reservations, and travel service coordination using GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo).
- Customer Support: Address client inquiries, provide travel guidance, and resolve booking issues promptly and professionally.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of bookings, issue travel documents (e.g., tickets, vouchers), and generate reports.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on airline policies, travel restrictions, and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work with sales and operations teams to promote travel packages and manage group bookings.
Qualifications
- Following IATA qualification or an equivalent qualification in E-Ticketing & Reservations
- Fluency in English and Sinhala
- Having a very good knowledge of MS office applications
- Ability to work in a team set up as well as independently
