Job Description
Primary Responsibility
The Telco Solution Engineer must have the ability to operate, manage, troubleshoot, and fix telecommunication infrastructure and related software. This includes session border management systems, VOIP, video conferencing, and other network applications. Monitoring system performance and conducting traffic analysis for service quality is essential.
Critical Experiences & Skills
- Minimum three years of experience in telecommunication or Cisco unified communication platforms.
- Knowledge and experience in VOIP platform operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco networking technologies like Catalyst Switches, VLANs, and Routing.
- Familiarity with Linux platforms and monitoring telecommunication application events.
- Strong written communication skills for technical reports and proposals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, work on a 24X7 basis, and maintain positive customer relationships.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Networking/Network Security/Electronic and Telecommunication or related field.
- Certification in Cisco: CCNA/CCNP-R&S. Additional certification in CISCO voice is a plus.
- Linux platform certification.
