Job Description
Sheladia Associates is seeking a seasoned Team Leader to join our team for the Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Port Access Elevated Highway Project in Sri Lanka. This is an ongoing assignment with an immediate start date upon approval from our Client.
- Review all designs submitted by the Contractor based on the Employer’s Detailed Design issued by the Employer.
- Carry out the supervision/administration of the civil works contract.
- Monitor project implementation schedule with milestones and critical path analysis.
- Prepare reports as required for the Employer and the ADB.
- Monitor the implementation of safeguards in accordance with the ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement.
- Ensure implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and other measures related to environmental protection in accordance with ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement.
- Review the Road Safety Plan and monitor the road safety measures adopted by the contractor in accordance with the Road Safety Plan.
- Conduct on-the-job training for the Employer’s Staff.
- Review Building Information Model (BIM) prepared by the Contractor and the final model of As-Built.
- Prepare reports, including technical appraisals, additional contract documentation, and/or review and comments on the Contractor’s proposals.
