Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Ambrum Solutions in Colombo.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure software quality
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases (manual and automated)
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Engage in Agile/Scrum processes for quality releases
- Conduct root cause analysis and report testing results
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing
- Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus
