Job Description
Disclaimer: This is an independent consultancy contract for a period of 06 months and extendable.
Overview: Engineer with Software Engineering | Java
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow best coding practices defined by software management
- Follow secured coding practices defined by OWASP
- Unit testing (TDD preferred)
- Bug fixing
- Code improvements
- Participating in System Integration Testing
- Technical Documentation
- Follow Agile processes
- On-time delivery
- Clear visibility, communication, and escalation of road blockers
Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or BSc equivalent qualification with 1+ year(s) experience
1+ year(s) experience in Software Engineering
Good Analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Good Understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts
Good algorithm knowledge and ability to code using at least one programming language
Ability to learn other coding languages as needed
Good Understanding of DBMSs
Good Understanding of Scrum and Agile practices
