Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Social Media Marketing Intern based in Colombo. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for creating and executing social media content, managing and growing social media channels, analyzing and reporting on social media performance, and staying up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Ability to create engaging content and familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social
- Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Previous experience in social media marketing or content creation is a plus
