Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Associate – Shipping to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shipping documentation and processes, with at least 6 months of experience in handling shipping-related tasks. This role involves preparing and reviewing shipping documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and efficient shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and commercial invoices.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all shipping documents with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments to schedule shipments and resolve any shipping issues.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and other related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and address inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to shipping and delivery.
- Support the shipping team with administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Good knowledge and experience with shipping documents, particularly Bills of Lading (BOL).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and international trade compliance is a plus.
- Experience with shipping software or ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
