Job Description
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation using Python programming language, along with proficiency in manual testing. The role will primarily involve test automation, with occasional manual testing responsibilities comprising less than 10% of the workload.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python programming language.
- Conduct manual testing tasks when required, which may include test case creation and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and contribute to test planning and strategy.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Document and report defects, and track their resolution through to completion.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Expected Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation
- Experience in Android device testing / Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with UI automation and understanding of API automation.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and Agile methodology, including test management and defects tracking.
- Experience in Automation framework maintenance
