Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineer at National Development Bank PLC (NDB) is tasked with overseeing the IT infrastructure, specializing in Windows/Linux Server Administration, Server Virtualization, enterprise Backup solutions, and Cloud management.
The Job:
- Analyze and deploy virtualized server solutions utilizing VMWare, Citrix XEN, Hyper-V, KVM
- Lead administration of Windows/Linux servers for optimal performance and security
- Maintain mobile device management and security policies
- Implement automation tools like Python, PowerShell, Ansible
- Manage MS O365 Corporate e-mail platform
- Ensure system maintenance aligns with ISO standards
- Ensure security policy compliance and interact with auditors
The Person:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in Server administration
- Windows/Linux/VMware certification is a plus
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
