Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation strategies and frameworks for large complex applications.
- Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end tests using Cypress and JavaScript.
- Configure and manage test environments with AWS/Azure services.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Understand manual test cases and plan the testing process.
- Define the scope and objectives of automation projects.
- Contribute to team agile planning activities, backlog prioritization, and management.
- Identify, verify, report, and retest bugs.
- Mentor and manage junior QA resources, guiding them on delivery and career expectations.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in test automation using Cypress and JavaScript.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and programming.
- Exposure to Git/Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
