Responsibility

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships.
• Analyze market trends, industry best practices, pricing, and supply availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide guidance on procurement processes.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including cost analysis, savings achieved, supplier performance metrics, etc., for management review.

Requirements

• Should possess a bachelor’s degree in supply management or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Sound knowledge of export, import & logistics related documentation.
• Excellent ability to liaise effectively with suppliers.
• Experience in finding, arranging, procuring, and overseeing the supply of packaging materials, raw materials, and other goods that adhere to compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems would be an added advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
