Job Description
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure sustainable service agreements.
- Purchase goods/services meeting quality standards and quantity requirements.
- Inspect purchased items, implement inventory optimization strategies, and monitor supplies.
- Analyze industry trends, support sourcing strategies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Provide market information for strategic planning, conduct vendor evaluations, and manage budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/procurement, 3-5 years experience in similar roles.
- Expertise in Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes.
- Strong English and Sinhala communication skills, commendable negotiation, problem-solving abilities.
