Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on product planning and development with design, production, and marketing teams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for new product opportunities.
- Ensure product assortments align with brand strategy and financial goals.
- Provide end-to-end solutions from development to bulk production.
Sales and Performance Analysis:
- Analyze sales data to evaluate product performance and trends.
- Prepare and present reports on sales, inventory, and market trends to senior management.
- Utilize sales insights to shape future product and merchandising strategies.
Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Establish and manage strong vendor and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules for quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of merchandising experience in the apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of product development, planning, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of menswear design and production is a bonus.
