Job Description
The job holder is responsible for overseeing litigation management for National Development Bank PLC (NDB) and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks to support business growth and uphold the bank’s reputation.
The Job:
- Understand and align litigation management with the bank’s strategic goals
- Provide legal opinions on recovery matters and court cases
- Draft and complete legal documents related to recoveries
- Negotiate settlements with clients and external lawyers
- Manage litigation costs efficiently
The Person:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in litigation/company law
- Degree/Professional qualifications in law (Attorney at Law & Notary Public)
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen
- Strong communication and coordination skills
