Job Description
Position Summary:
The Financial Accountant at Kerner Norland oversees financial reports and ensures compliance with tax and statutory requirements. This role is vital for financial integrity, working Australian hours and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end processes and reporting, reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports, manage general ledger, assist in audit preparation
- Tax compliance, BAS preparation, FBT return completion
- Adherence to accounting standards, support budgeting and process improvement
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, CPA preferred, financial accounting experience
- Awareness of Australian tax laws, proficiency in accounting software
- Detail-oriented, independent worker, strong communication skills
Work Schedule and Holiday Calendar:
- Full-time, Hybrid position with Australian work hours and holiday calendar
