Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Executive – Sea Export Customer Service and Documentation at Mind Plus in Colombo. As a Senior Executive, you will be responsible for managing sea export customer service and documentation activities. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating with customers, handling queries and issues, preparing shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
– Full/ Part Qualification in Degree/ Diploma related to logistics
– Excellent communication, PR, and negotiation skills
– Familiarize with working under the Gensoft ERP system
– Minimum 2- 3 years experience in the same capacity
Responsibilities:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance.
– Address customer concerns and resolve issues related to shipments, documentation, and logistics.
– Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, and other related documents
– Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
– Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to obtain necessary documentation and approvals.
– Track shipments and provide updates to customers on their status throughout the shipping process.
– Conduct quality checks on documentation and shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
– Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry standards governing international trade and transportation.
– Contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and initiatives.
