Job Description

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling deliveries, route planning, and coordination with drivers.
• Work closely with the logistics team to ensure seamless coordination between warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and other transportation vendors to ensure high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare regular reports on transportation operations, costs, and performance metrics for senior management.
• Provide guidance and support to the transportation team, including drivers, dispatchers, and other staff members.

Pre-Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, logistics operations, and supply chain management principles.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), route planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
