Job Description

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Active team as a Senior Merchandiser – Development. This role would enable you to engage in carrying out all related activities from the receipt of the style to the development of the sample till execution of bulk, coordinating with relevant parties as required in order to meet customer requirements, achieve sales budgets, and thereby achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on the sampling process to obtain customer approvals (Proto Samples, Salesman Samples) in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and key performance indicators are met timely.
• Build and maintain effective business relationships with all partners.
• Conduct Style handover meeting with Production and Sourcing merchandisers.
• Ensure accurate system costing runs are carried out.
• Work with suppliers and planners to reserve production capacity and confirm the time and action plan.
• Negotiate costs with suppliers to ensure competitive costings are provided to the customer.
• Maintain system information accuracy.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Marketing or Business Management.
• 3-4 years of merchandising and development experience.
• Good knowledge in MS Office and email.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge and experience in factory processes are an added advantage.
