Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, Databricks, Azure + AWS.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements aligning with business goals.
- Integrate Snowflake with data sources and third-party apps.
- Implement best practices for data modeling, schema design, and data governance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, optimizing Snowflake usage.
- Mentor junior engineers on Snowflake best practices.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in code reviews for software development improvement.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
- Proven Snowflake data platform experience.
- Strong SQL proficiency, data modeling, and schema design.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
