Job Description

POSITION: Assistant Manager – Customer Service

LOCATION: Biyagama, Sri Lanka

SALARY: 130K – 180K LKR basic + performance bonus and other benefits

OVERVIEW: Our client, a leading multinational Labelling and Packaging company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for their Customer Service department in Biyagama, Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention through effective management of the customer service team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Spearhead and mentor a team towards surpassing customer expectations and achieving departmental goals.
  2. Oversee Key Accounts and resolve daily operational challenges efficiently.
  3. Conduct performance evaluations for Customer Service Department personnel.
  4. Enhance relationships with stakeholders, supervise customer orders, and address grievances adeptly.
  5. Maintain a Customer Database for streamlined communication and service.
  6. Undertake regular customer visits, identify new business opportunities, and drive superior service delivery.

PRE-REQUISITES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in customer services/business development/marketing/key accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of customer relations, business functions, and marketing strategies
  • Ability to promote a team environment, negotiation skills, presentation skills, and analytical skills
  • Merchandisers with direct customer relation management experience can apply
