Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct audit engagements following established procedures and standards.
- Review and evaluate clients’ financial statements, controls, and accounting systems.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise and guide audit teams, providing support throughout the process.
- Collaborate with clients to address queries and ensure smooth audit flow.
- Stay updated with auditing regulations and best practices.
- Assist in developing audit plans and strategies to enhance process efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Corporate Level at CASL/Applied Skills Level at ACCA/Operational Level at CIMA or equivalent.
- Final Year undergraduate/Graduate in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of practical training in External Auditing as an Audit Associate.
- Thorough understanding of audit methodologies, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Computer literacy in MS Office, strong analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Leadership qualities to mentor junior auditors, meet deadlines, and manage tasks effectively.
