Job Description
The candidate in this position will be responsible for overseeing the following job responsibilities in our Treasury Middle office:
Responsibilities:
- Perform Internal and Regulatory reporting within stipulated cutoff times.
- Preparation of daily exchange/interest rate sheets and ensure proper dissemination to relevant stakeholders.
- Limit monitoring to control Treasury risks in compliance with Bank policies.
- Perform daily FX position reconciliation for accurate reporting.
- Back-up for immediate supervisor & carry out assigned special duties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Bank, Finance, or Service Industry.
- Special qualification – Foreign exchange dealing course by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
OR
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Bank, Finance, or Service Industry.
- Part qualification – CIMA or equivalent in accountancy or Banking.
- Special qualification – Foreign exchange dealing course by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
- Basic understanding of Treasury Products and accounting is an added qualification.
Special Skills:
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail.
- High degree of Accuracy.
- Computer Literacy – MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
- Interpersonal skills.
