Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at AIMS Campus located in Negombo. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports and statements, performing budget analysis, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They will also be responsible for providing financial advice and support to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
- Experience in the education industry is a plus
