Job Description
We are thrilled to announce an opening for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our client’s team.
Designation: Sales Manager – Chemicals and Consumables
Location: Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute field sales plans aligned with product, market strategies, and the company’s core competencies.
- Address market changes in technology, product lifecycle, and customer needs; continuously design processes for selected segments.
- Formulate pricing strategies and introduce new products/value propositions based on product lifecycle and market potential analysis.
- Evaluate and implement sales techniques to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients within the sector.
- Conduct regular sales visits to the top 20 customers in the country.
Key Requirements:
- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or an Applied Science degree with a focus on Molecular Biology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a scientific laboratory.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Positive attitude, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent team collaboration and innovative thinking.
- Valid riding and driving license.
- Willing to engage in extensive travel.
