Job Description

We are seeking talented individuals to join our team at Dialog – University of Moratuwa Mobile Communications Research Laboratory for the position of Research Engineer specializing in 5G and Embedded Communication Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on developing sandbox environments for telecommunications R&D.
• Utilize open-source solutions for creating flexible 5G sandbox environments.
• Design, implement, and test embedded communication systems.
• Utilize DevOps practices like Docker and Kubernetes for project efficiency.
• Stay updated on 5G advancements for project integration.
• Solve complex technical problems to enhance project performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and communication technologies.
• Experience in Linux and Raspberry Pi platforms.
• Familiarity with software-defined radio platforms is a plus.
• Excellent research skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
