Job Description
The position holder is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations of a specific geographic region within a company. Their primary role is to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within that region by leading a team of sales representatives/managers.
The incumbent will report to General Manager – Sales and the role further entails:
- Develop and implement regional business growth strategies and plans.
- Deliver primary and secondary sales targets for the designated region – monthly and annually.
- Achieve the distribution objectives of all brands and product categories.
- Execute the Customer Marketing strategies and plans in all trade channels within the given area.
- Manage & sustain the profitability of the Distribution Partners.
- Recruit, develop and retain the Front Line Sales and Merchandising teams.
- Develop the sales supervisors and build a motivated and energised team.
Qualification & Experience:
- Possess a degree in a related field or be part/fully qualified in CIM or SLIM.
- Minimum 5 – 10 years overall experience in Sales.
- High Aptitude in Sales Force Management, Business Acumen, Negotiation Skill, Execution Excellence, Consumer Centricity & Coaching skills.
- Being trilingual (Sinhala, Tamil & English) will be a definite advantage.
