Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at our Nugegoda office in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Manage appointment schedules and coordinate meetings.
  • Handle inquiries and provide information about our travel services.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
  • Support the travel team with booking arrangements and travel-related inquiries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
