Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at our Nugegoda office in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients and visitors warmly.
• Answer and direct phone calls, take messages.
• Manage schedules and coordinate meetings.
• Handle inquiries and provide travel information.
• Maintain a tidy reception area.
• Assist with data entry, filing, and correspondence.
• Support travel team with booking arrangements.
• Ensure efficient office operations and monitor supplies.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional office management certification a plus.
• Proven experience as a receptionist or front office role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude with confidentiality.
• Customer service orientation and ability to remain calm under pressure.
