Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor – MEP to join our Installation department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP installations.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to identify project requirements and potential cost implications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for cost estimation and project planning.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals for competitive pricing.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare comprehensive cost reports.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and evaluate workmanship.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain competitive quotes for materials, equipment, and services.
- Manage change orders, claims, and contractual disputes related to quantity surveying and cost control.
