Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow best QE guidelines defined by the QE department
- Work with engineers to understand business requirement documents
- Escalate clarification when there is ambiguity in the requirement
- Write functional test cases
- Execute functional test cases
- Log and verify defects
- Participate in System Integration Testing
- Support UAT document preparation and UAT demo
- Follow Agile processes
- Ensure on-time delivery
- Adhere to hierarchy for escalations
Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge:
- Undergraduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent BSc qualification
- Good understanding of basic QA practices
- Knowledge in testing concepts and models
- Proficiency in Test Management tools (Jira/HPQC)
- Hands-on experience in test automation (Selenium)
- Analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile practices
