Job Description
Education/Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Willingness to work in the UK or US shifts
- Graduate in engineering, technology, computer science or a related field
- Over two years of professional work experience in software testing and quality assurance – both manual and automated
- Experience in testing website content and web applications
- Proficiency in different types of functional and non-functional testings
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver and TestNG) and relevant code libraries
- Ability to work independently as a test engineer
- Sound understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
- Ability to adapt to changes and learn new tools and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of financial services (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Understand content and software requirements and implement quality assurance best practices
- Help create test cases and test data for automation and/or creation, enhancement, and debugging and execute automation test cases (manual/automated)
- Report and analyze defects while working closely with content teams and developers
- Perform analysis of test results and track software-testing metrics
- Coordinate with senior members to help prepare test reports
- Execute regression tests and contribute to change management practices
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop solutions
- Implement and adhere to coding standards and best practices
