Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, clearly defining the scope and test activities in alignment with the project timeline.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed, well-structured test cases and automated test scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Administer the defect management process to maintain quality standards
• Provide and maintain clear, detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with the QA team and perform peer reviews on test artifacts to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Coordinating UAT to ensure the product meets user needs and expectations.
• Maintain or improve the company’s quality standards and best practices. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field.
• Completion of ISTQB-CTFL exam is an added advantage
• Should have a solid understanding in developing test plans & strategies, test designing with a focus on Agile environments.
• Should be knowledgeable and experienced in testing Web apps and Mobile apps across multiple platforms.
• Should possess knowledge in API testing for REST or SOAP architectures.
• Should have knowledge in test automation, using at least one technology such as Selenium, Appium, Robot, Mocha, etc.
• Familiarity in non-functional testing covering aspects like Usability, Performance, Security, etc.
• Experience and knowledge in performance/load testing using at least one technology, such as JMeter, Locust, or K6 is a plus.
• Should be familiar with database concepts, including relationships in RDBMS and document structures in NoSQL databases, indexing, transactions.
• Must be a critical thinker and should be collaborative with the team.
• Should have a degree or equivalent qualification.
