Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the OBS end-to-end project by managing the project team, suppliers, and customer dependencies. Workstreams include Design, Infrastructure/Data Centre, Software Development and Testing, Training, Business Change, and Transition to Support. Project management tasks include planning, tracking tasks against schedule, managing project budget, team meetings, reporting and resolving issues, and risks, change control, obtaining sign-offs, and agreements from relevant parties. Act as the primary local OBS contact for the customer and stakeholders. Follow OBS Governance policies in terms of internal status and financial reporting.
Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience managing software implementation projects to time and budget.
• Experience in projects with the Sri Lanka Government as a customer.
Knowledge and skills:
• Excellent written and spoken English and local language.
• Project management competencies in schedule and financial management, change control.
• Able to form relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Education and training:
• Computing or business-related degree.
• PMP certified or able to provide extensive evidence of proficiency in Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
