Job Description
Are you a finance professional interested in product costing and analysis? LAUGFS Lubricants is looking for a Product Cost Analyst to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for optimizing material costs and driving cost-efficiency, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure optimal material costs in manufacturing operations.
- Initiate the product cost collector run and save process for all products, including new products.
- Maintain material cost estimates for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Evaluate all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure competitive pricing.
- Analyze market trends and tariffs that could impact material costs and importation.
- Provide cost analysis reports to management for pricing decisions and annual product cost comparisons.
- Analyze raw materials for expected costs and calculate resource handling losses.
- Work with department heads to identify strategies to minimize waste and operational costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Finance or Business Management.
- Fresh graduates with good internship experience in similar areas are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in English & Sinhala with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP.
- Experience in a similar capacity will be an added advantage.
