Job Description
We’re on a mission to make a difference in the pharmaceutical industry, and we’re looking for a Procurement Executive to join our client’s team.
Designation: Procurement Executive
Location: Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of quality items at the right price and quantity
- Conduct comparative analysis on supplier prices and negotiate terms
- Review and evaluate supplier performance
- Carry out all necessary procurement activities, including raising POs
- Submit final invoices to Finance and Accounts, and follow up on payments
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage service agreements
- Source potential vendors for goods and services
- Prepare detailed procurement reports
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree or equivalent Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English
- Proficient in MS Office
