Job Description

We’re on a mission to make a difference in the pharmaceutical industry, and we’re looking for a Procurement Executive to join our client’s team.

Designation: Procurement Executive

Location: Colombo

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely delivery of quality items at the right price and quantity
• Conduct comparative analysis on supplier prices and negotiate terms
• Review and evaluate supplier performance
• Carry out all necessary procurement activities, including raising POs
• Submit final invoices to Finance and Accounts, and follow up on payments
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage service agreements
• Source potential vendors for goods and services
• Prepare detailed procurement reports

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree or equivalent Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics
• Experience in the pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English
• Proficient in MS Office
