Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Colombo for a Principal Data Scientist at The Intelligentz Global. The Principal Data Scientist will be responsible for leading and managing data science projects, developing and implementing advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms, and providing strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science.
Qualifications
- Bsc degree in computer science Msc is preferred
- Proven 5 years experience in data science and machine learning domains .
- Proven experience in leading and executing data science projects
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks
- Expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficient in using data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Excel)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce is a plus
