Job Description
Requirements
- Lead and manage the pricing team, ensuring effective coordination and efficient handling of pricing inquiries.
- Engage with import and export teams to develop competitive pricing strategies for Air freight, Sea Freight, and Courier services.
- Review and manage daily pricing inquiries, ensuring relevant requests are forwarded to appropriate team members for quotation from agents.
- Send pricing details and sales inquiries to the sales team, track the feedback on business prospects, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Weekly review of jobs that were not performed, working with sales heads to identify and address any issues.
- Conduct a breakdown analysis of individual sales performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead second-round discussions on confirmed jobs to finalize pricing and ensure alignment with client expectations. Continuously assess and refine pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing or logistics with a focus on air freight.
- Proven track record of team management and pricing strategy development.
