Our client, based in Devon, is currently recruiting for a Planned Works Manager on a 6-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate available is circa £300 a day and due to be paid through an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on Retrofit/Decarbonisation projects, Cyclical Maintenance and line management experience.
Duties Will Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Managing the Retrofit and Decarb works within domestic properties, including applying for grants and managing contracts for retrofit works
- Directly line managing four surveyors and one technical officer
- Overseeing all cyclical maintenance on domestic properties, including kitchen, bathroom, roofing and EICRs
- Managing complaints from tenants
- Providing advice and expertise relating to CDM
- Procuring contracts for medium – large scale projects, and exercising budgetary management
Experience Required
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
- Experience working overseeing planned works contracts
