Job Description
Job Duties
- Ensure safety of personnel, plants, and machinery while improving manufacturing processes.
- Prepare annual maintenance budget and manage expenditures.
- Plan and execute annual maintenance program for all machinery to minimize costs and downtime.
- Work with stores and procurement team to manage spare parts inventory.
- Minimize down-times and wastage, ensure machinery meets quality parameters.
- Manage asset maintenance systems/tools for optimal machinery operations.
- Prepare investment budgets and appraisals, develop equipment manuals and maintenance checklists.
- Prepare project proposals and justify capital expenditure requests for plant projects.
- Keep managers informed of issues impacting business and plan strategies to address them.
