Job Description

We are a recruitment company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and we are currently looking for a Manager – Sourcing Quality Assurance and Laboratory Operation for one of the reputed companies in Sri Lanka.

Job Role

  • Create and execute quality assurance plans for sourcing and procurement to ensure materials meet the required standards.
  • Perform regular audits and evaluations of suppliers to verify compliance with quality specifications and improve supplier performance.
  • Oversee daily laboratory activities, ensuring accurate and timely testing of materials, maintaining equipment, and implementing safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring all processes and documentation are compliant, and prepare for compliance audits.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for the quality assurance team and laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.v

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, laboratory operations, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and industry best practices, along with proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor staff.
