Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for new product development, improvement of existing products, and cost reduction initiatives
• Lead and manage a team of R&D professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize research and development projects
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive landscape
• Manage product development process from concept to launch
• Oversee product specifications, formulations, and production processes
• Analyze product performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Develop and manage R&D budgets effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development, with 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of food science, processing, and safety regulations
• Proven track record of launching new products and improving existing ones
• Experience managing and developing R&D teams
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment
