Job Description
Ministry of Crab is Sri Lanka’s premier seafood restaurant, known for serving the freshest crabs and seafood with culinary excellence in Colombo. We are hiring a Procurement Manager with keen attention to detail and exceptional negotiation skills to maintain our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategies for timely acquisition of goods/services.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for advantageous terms.
- Manage supplier relationships and contract oversight.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to forecast demand.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct market research for new suppliers and industry updates.
- Manage procurement budgets and optimize supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in procurement, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Organized with attention to detail, able to work independently or in a team.
