Job Description

Ministry of Crab is Sri Lanka’s premier seafood restaurant, known for serving the freshest crabs and seafood with culinary excellence in Colombo. We are hiring a Procurement Manager with keen attention to detail and exceptional negotiation skills to maintain our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategies for timely acquisition of goods/services.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for advantageous terms.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract oversight.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to forecast demand.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Conduct market research for new suppliers and industry updates.
• Manage procurement budgets and optimize supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in procurement, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Organized with attention to detail, able to work independently or in a team.
