Job Description
We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka seeking a Manager of Raw Materials and Packaging for a top FMCG company in Colombo. Your role involves ensuring timely sourcing, quality, and cost-efficiency of materials for FMCG products, supporting our production goals and supply chain excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials and packaging.
- Oversee inventory levels for optimal stock availability.
- Ensure materials meet quality standards and reduce procurement costs.
- Promote sustainable packaging initiatives and lead the procurement team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
