Job Description
Job Duties
- Manage production plans and schedules including contingency or exception plans to mitigate known risks when necessary.
- Control the work in progress for optimum utilization of the capacity.
- Assist the production team to find solutions to problems that may affect the production schedule.
- Analyzing orders in hand and checking the availability of required capacity.
- Prepare detailed production schedules including all tasks and completion timelines.
- Liaise closely with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure compliance of scheduled plan.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or any other related discipline.
- At least 6 months of experience in planning at a large, diversified manufacturing organization.
- Proven track records of end-to-end production planning.
- High integrity and ability to handle multiple projects/ products.
- Strategic thinking.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- New ideas, innovative thinking and a go-greater mindset.
