Job Description

We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka seeking a Management Accountant for a renowned FMCG company in Ekala, Sri Lanka. This role offers a chance for a finance professional to drive company growth and success. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance, offering insights for senior management decisions.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor key financial metrics, identifying trends and variances.
• Collaborate with department heads on financial plans and strategies.
• Assist in year-end accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support the development of financial controls and procedures.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications And Experience:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience, ideally in the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills for complex financial data interpretation.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
