OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, civil, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and comply with safety standards, providing a comfortable and safe environment for all building occupants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- HVAC Systems: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Civil Maintenance: Supervise civil engineering projects, including structural repairs, renovations, and maintenance of the company infrastructure.
- Electrical Systems: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems and ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Plumbing Systems: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings and ensure proper functioning of water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing-related equipment.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all facilities operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate and manage emergency response procedures for facility-related incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a multi-disciplinary role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, civil, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
