Role Description
Seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and implement ML models, analyze data, enhance algorithms, and collaborate on AI solutions for accuracy and efficiency. Located in Colombo.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related
- 3+ years in developing ML and deep learning models, especially NLP
- Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Hands-on in building language models like BERT, GPT
- Strong understanding of NLP techniques
- Experience with diverse language data and optimization algorithms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics
- 5+ years in building production-ready ML systems
- Success in multilingual projects, especially Sinhala, English, Tamil
- Experience with low-resource languages and cloud-based ML platforms
- Strong communication and continuous learning abilities
